FRIENDS AND FAMILY

It is the policy of the Middle River Regional Jail to facilitate offender visitation with family, counsel, and clergy. All visitors must register an account and schedule a visit using the following link:

https://middleriverva.gtlvisitme.com/app

Visitors must schedule a visit online from 2 to 14 days in advance. Offenders will receive one 15 minute visit each week.  IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE VISITOR TO SCHEDULE THEIR VISIT ONLINE.

Offenders are not eligible for visitation during the first few days of incarceration to allow for classification and placement into specified housing. You will receive an error message until you are able to schedule the visit.

Visits for General Population offenders are scheduled depending upon the area an offender is housed in at MRRJ. These visits will be conducted in our Face to Face Visitation area.

Visits for offenders in Special Housing Units are scheduled on Wednesday from 0800-1030 and 1230-1600. These Visits will be conducted over a Video Visitation Station.

Please see below for visitation rules. All rules may not be specifically stated on this website. The Visitation Officer will enforce all rules and polices to ensure the safety and security of the Jail.
