Inmate Visitation

Please call ahead for visitation times   
Visitation is a privilege

We Can NOT tell you over the phone if you are on an inmate's visitation list.  If you would like to know either ask the inmate or come to the facility with a picture ID.

 Family and Friends

  • Visitors must be signed in 30 minutes prior to visitation end.  For example, if visitation ends at 4:15pm than you should be at the facility no later than 3:45p.m. to sign in. 
  • All inmates receive One (1) fifteen (15) minute visit per week.
  • Former inmates must wait 3 months after being released before visiting. 
  • Any visitor that violates visitation rules may be banned from visitation.
  • All who wish to visit shall follow the rules and regulations for visitation.
  • Anyone who is intoxicated shall be denied access into the facility and may be subject to arrest.
  • Hand bags, purses, backpacks, umbrellas, cell phones, cameras, or any other personal items shall be left in the vehicle.
  • Any visitor that violates visitation rules may be banned from visitation

 Registration For Friends and Family

  • All visitors must register with the officer on duty
  • Each visitor will be required to provide a picture ID and must be over the age of 18
  • Any visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. 
  • Any visitor not on the inmates visitation list will be denied visitation.

Dress Policy

  • No see through clothing
  • No Bathing Suits
  • No tank tops, halter tops, tube tops, or  crop tops
  • No clothing that exposes the stomach, back, shoulders, chest, midriff, or under arms.
  • No mini skirts
  • Dresses, shorts, and skirts must be no shorter than three inches above the knee
  • Shoes must be worn
  • No clothing with obscene language or pictures
  • No clothing resembling security uniforms or inmate clothing
  • No items of clothing deemed inappropriate by the shift supervisor
  • No cell phones, cameras, or any electronic device will be allowed.          

Professional Visits:
Professional Visits are Monday thru Friday from 8:30am-10:30am and 12:30pm-4:00pm with the exception of  Thursday afternoons when there are NO Professional Visits. This Includes attorney and minister visits.
Attorney:

  • You will need to call at least 15 minutes before you arrive.  You will need to give the receptionist the names of 2 inmates you wish to see.  Upon arrival you can request to see additional inmates to the Visitation Officer. 
  • Attorney visits are permitted during normal business hours. After business hours they must contact the Watch Commander on duty to make special arrangements.  Visits between inmates and attorneys are private and confidential.

         Ministers:

  • Ministers must be on the approved minister list for this facility and on the inmate's visitation list in order to visit.  If you are not an approved minister: Major Dull approves ministers for visits on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month. 

 

 Registration Procedures for Proffesional Visits

  • All professional visitors are asked to check in with the Receptionist as you are required to leave your ID for a MRRJ issued one until your visit is complete.  Your corporation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
